Time to Save the Planet

Did you know that each visit to a website causes carbon dioxide to be emitted into the atmosphere? This is due to the use of computers, servers, and their cooling systems. Throughout this spring season, the Arbor Day Foundation will be planting trees for participating websites in the Plumas National Forest in Northern California, which has been affected by forest fires over the past few years.

Why am I doing this? It's simple... to ensure that my kids, grand kids, etc, have clean air to breath. I'd like some of it, too! If you'd like to participate in this free program, click here. It's a simple way to help the world.

Olive and Poppy recently let us know that they like to play in the kitchen, especially the refrigerator...

Sooooo, Jill bought them a play kitchen! She found it at the First State Mothers of Multiples resale this weekend. It is the Fisher Price Laugh and Learn 2-in-1 Learning Kitchen.

And, we're done (and sick)....

Caught in the Act

Hello there! It has been a while, hasn't it? I took a trip down south to visit family in Alabama, and once I go through all the pictures, I will devote an entire blog post to my trip. Until then, here are two pictures of Poppy that I love. Enjoy!

Back to Normal!

After 3 weeks, the babies are back to normal! By normal, I mean they are not sick anymore (although Jill still is). This is just in time to enjoy the warm weather we had this weekend. Of course, we went for a stroll in the park yesterday and today. The fresh air really gave the girls energy!

In other news, Jill finally got to meet our new cousin Memphis. Snow and/or sickness kept us from him for many, many weeks, but yesterday they came for a visit! We had a full house: Maria, David, Shaefer, Memphis, Grandmom Rosalie, Pop-pop Joe, and friends Amy and Mark. In all the excitement, I barely took any pictures. But, here are some of the guest of honor...

Now for some Poppy and Olive news. They got a new toy chest and love it! It's Clifford, the big, red dog.

Here is a funny video for your enjoyment. You need some background first... Each night, Poppy and Olive crawl into the bathroom for bath time wearing only their diapers. The tile floor must be too cold for them, so it really messes up their stride. In the video, Poppy is doing the one-legged slide, and Olive is doing the elephant walk.

Will It Ever End?

Ok, so the babies officially have sinus infections (as do I and probably Jill) and have been on antibiotics since Friday. It's just heartbreaking when they have no appetites and just want to cry. They have made improvements, though, since starting the antibiotics, so I'm optimistic for now. I just want to get them out of the house soon so they don't go stir-crazy!

Fun with Johnny Jump-Up!
